Dr. Main was born and raised in Sundridge, Ontario. He attended the University of Guelph for his undergraduate studies prior to completing his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2005.
Upon graduation, Dr. Main worked for a large private group practice in Willmar, Minnesota. Prior to joining Armstrong Optometry Clinic, he and his wife Carol (also an optometrist) owned and operated their own private clinic in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin since 2013.
Dr. Main feels especially privileged to be able to provide comprehensive and personalized vision care to families and people of all ages. He and his family are excited about their return to Canada and are eager to become part of the Armstrong community.
In his free time, Dr. Main can usually be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife and 2 boys. He is an avid alpine skier who also enjoys golfing, hiking, and playing the guitar and piano.
